Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev will attend the funeral of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher set to take place on April 17 at London's St. Paul's Cathedral.
Plevneliev's attendance was confirmed Tuesday by the press office of Bulgaria's head of state.
The ceremonial service is to start at 11am local time and will be aired live by the Bulgarian National Television (BNT).
