The draw determining the ballot numbers for parties and coalitions running at the May 12 parliamentary elections has finished.
According to the results of the draw, which was held at noon on Tuesday at Bulgaria's Central Electoral Commission (CEC), center-right party Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) will have ballot #15, the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will have ballot #5, the ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms party (DPS) will have ballot #40, the Bulgaria for Citizens Movement of former EU Commissioner Meglena Kuneva will have ballot #33, and nationalist party Ataka will have ballot #14.
The right-wing Union of Democratic Forces (UDF) party will have ballot #10, the Greens party will have ballot #26, the marginal conservative Order, Law and Justice party (RZS) of Yane Yanev will have ballot #17, and the VMRO-Bulgarian National Movement will have ballot #18.
Ballot #1 goes to the New Alternative party of former defence minister Nikolay Tsonev.
A total of 38 political parties and 7 coalitions uniting 25 parties will participate in Bulgaria's upcoming general elections.
Depending on the electoral region, the ballot will be 25cm to over 0.5m long.
The pre-election campaign starts on April 12, 30 days ahead of the vote, and ends at midnight on May 10.
