Building Collapses in India, Kills Dozens of People
At least 35 people were killed as a building being constructed without authorization collapsed in a Mumbai suburb late on Thursday.
Dozens have been injured and many others are feared trapped beneath the seven-storey building in the suburb of Thane.
Police have said that building work was still going at the site on even though four floors were already occupied.
The collapse appeared to be due to the use of substandard building material, according to the BBC.
Most of the victims were construction workers who were staying in the building.
