Fulham's in-form Bulgarian forward Dimitar Berbatov scored two goals for his team's 3:2 win against Queens Park Rangers, surpassing Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp in the process.
Dimitar Berbatov's double and an own goal put the hosts 3-0 up in the first half but QPR, stormed back, courtesy of Adel Taarabt and Loic Remy.
Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer saved a penalty three minutes after the restart.
"We have always been safe, I don't think anyone should worry - we play good football," Berbatov told Sky Sports 1 after the game. "I was not nervous, we almost threw the game away, we had a comfortable lead."
Martin Jol heaped praise on man-of-the-match Dimitar Berbatov after the win.
"He works ever so hard and that is a good thing. A player as good as him who works that hard, that is what we like. He's a great player for us," Jol told reporters.
The Bulgarian striker has now surpassed former Arsenal player Dennis Bergkamp in the all-time list of Premier League goal scorers. Berbatov now has 88 Premier League goals, one more than the Dutch legend.
