Bulgaria's former Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has told the senior officials in his center-right GERB party not to tell a single lie during the campaign for the upcoming snap elections, according to former Economy Minister Delyan Dobrev.
Dobrev told reporters on Thursday that Borisov has not "disappeared" from public view, as local media have stated recently.
The former Prime Minister is busy preparing the party political program, he has explained.
Dobrev vowed that GERB will not resort to populism ahead of the elections.
The center-right government of former PM Boyko Borisov resigned amid massive anti-poverty protests in February, prompting President Rosen Plevneliev to adjourn the Parliament, appoint a caretaker Cabinet and schedule snap elections for May 12.
