Right-wing party Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB) will take part in the upcoming snap elections together with a coalition partner, it was made clear on Sunday.
DSB submitted documents Sunday for registration with the country's electoral body.
Veselin Metodiev, chair of the party's election headquarters, revealed that it will enter a coalition, which will be registered in the next couple of days. He did not name the coalition partner.
However, it is likely that the party will participate in the elections as part of the so-called "Unity."
Parties have up to March 27 to collect 7 000 signatures and a deposit of BGN 10 000 which they will get back if they overcome a threshold of 0.1% from the entire vote.
The deadline for registering coalitions or changing their membership is 5 pm on April 1.
The deadline for changing a coalition by removing a party from it is 5 pm on April 6.
President Rosen Plevneliev installed a caretaker government on March 12 after last month's resignation of the center-right GERB government that was triggered by massive protests against poverty, corruption and shockingly high utility bills.
Snap elections are to take place on May 12.
