Neda Peliteva Appointed as New Chief Editor of Novinite
Famed Bulgarian journalist Neda Peliteva - recent chief editor of the Klassa daily - has been appointed at the helm of Bulgaria's independent online news agency Novinite.
Founded in 2001, the agency now writes news in Bulgarian, English and Russian (novinite.bg, novinite.com and novinite.ru, respectively).
The English version is an undisputed leader in the Bulgarian market and the most visited and read Bulgarian media source abroad.
The Bulgarian edition recently celebrated its first birthday, while the Russian version was started just a month ago.
The three editions of the agency have close to 3 M unique visits monthly and are constantly developing.
"Novinite is a wonderful agency and my great ambition is to see its Bulgarian version also become a market leader. We will be fast, objective and independent. It is this type of media that Bulgaria needs now," said Peliteva.
Neda Peliteva has made a footprint as a journalist while chief editor of the News and Analyses sections in the Standart daily. She then served as chief editor for domestic news in the Trud daily, and as the chief editor in Express BG.
