Bulgarian European Commissioner Kristalina Georgieva has declared that European institution will support her home country's newly appointed caretaker government.
Georgieva has expressed her hope that the caretaker Cabinet will be also backed by Bulgarians. She has described it as made of "non-partisan experts."
"I expect them to be well-received. Let's allow them to do their work in the short time they have. It won't be easy for them, but I am convinced that they will succeed," Georgieva told the Bulgarian National Radio on Wednesday.
Bulgaria's President Rosen Plevneliev issued a decree Wednesday for the appointment of a caretaker government that will be headed by diplomat Marin Raykov.
Marin Raykov will head Bulgaria's caretaker government until the May 12 elections
