The leader of the Socialist Party and Bulgarian ex-PM Sergey Stanishev will become a father to a son in three months, according to unconfirmed reports.
Stanishev's girlfriend and mother of his first child Monika Yosifova has neither confirmed, nor denied the information.
The two are expected to tie the knot in the spring, but the exact date will be fixed after the early elections the country faces.
Stanishev's first child – daughter Daria – was born on May 1, 2011, celebrated by the Bulgarian Socialist Party as Labor Day.
Before that, Stanishev held a party for fellow party members at the BSP headquarters in downtown Sofia and the latter had given Daria a diamond-studded necklace with the wish she would shine as a diamond.
The youth organization at the party had presented the proud father with a symbolic cake made from diapers and topped with a baby elephant, wishing Daria to be pretty as her mother and smart as her father.
Stanishev vowed at the party to begin working on a second baby, a promised that he obviously kept.
