The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry's official website was "hacked" immediately after the country announced that Hezbollah may have been responsible for last year's terror attack in Burgas, according to a local paper.

The 24 Chasa daily reports that "two Arab videos" appeared on the website. One of them allegedly depicted Israeli strikes on the Gaza strip, while the other was "a message in Arabic."

24 Chasa suspects that the reported hacker attack was a reaction to the "well-founded assumption" voiced by Bulgaria last week that Hezbollah was involved in the July 18 bus bombing.

Bulgarian Foreign Ministry officials have told the paper that the accident was not technically a hacker attack but an "unauthorized access attempt."

The "hacker attack" did not cause any serious damage and the website was repaired within hours.
