The offices of the Sofia Bar Association are located across the street from the Central Courthouse where Zlatko Baretata, a former counter-terrorism commando, was shot at and wounded on Tuesday.

However, the shooter managed to run away almost immediately, bTV reported. The Beret and one of his bodyguards, who managed to fire back, are hospitalized in the Pirogov Hospital in Sofia. Baretata is known to be conscious despite having suffered four gunshot wounds.
