Bulgaria's Maleeva through to Kremlin Cup Final

Bulgaria's best tennis player made it through to Kremlin Cup final after straight sets win over fourth seed Amelie Mauresmo (France) 7-5 6-4. At the final Magi will face second seed American Lindsay Davenport, who reached her third final of the year on Saturday, beating South Africa's Amanda Coetzer 6-3 6-4 in the Kremlin Cup semi-finals. After her sensation victory over top seed Venus Williams (2-6 6-1 7-6) in Moscow 2nd round, it took Magi just about an hour to defeat Nathalie Dechy, France, 6-4, 6-2. This was Magi's second victory over the French tennis player out of three matches. In the other quarterfinal matches Amanda Coetzer, South Africa, defeated Nadia Petrova, Russia, 6-2, 6-1. Lindsay Davenport took final Moscow semifinal place after three- set win over Elena Bovina, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.
