Bulgaria Grapples with Soaring Corruption Rates: New Report Reveals Shocking Data
Corruption in Bulgaria has soared to its third highest peak in history, according to a recent report by the Center for the Study of Democracy
Bulgaria's largest PR аgency M3 Communications Group, Inc., has been recognized as the strongest PR brand on the Bulgarian market, according survey of the local consumer segment by Superbrands, the world's largest independent arbiter of brands.
M3 Communications Group, Inc., an associate of the global PR consultancy Hill & Knowlton, member of the WPP Group PLC, is a leading PR company in Bulgaria with an 18-year history. It has realized over 5 200 projects for nearly 250 clients. Some projects have received prestigious international awards, while clients include Bulgarian and international companies, leaders on the real estate, cosmetics, consumable goods markets, in the energy sector, and courier services, among others.
The prestigious survey was conducted for the third time in Bulgaria and culminated in a glitzy awarding ceremony on Wednesday evening. Representatives of the selected companies were recognized for making it up to the highest level of Superbrands at the ceremonial hall of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski."
The international independent brand arbiter picked the top 500 brands operating in Bulgaria out of 1500 nominees in different categories and sectors.
Other award winners include the popular search engine Google, the private national TV channel bTV, Bulgaria's leading water bottling company Devin, BMW, the Domaine Boyar winery, Apple, the Bulgarian fast food chain Happy and Unicredit Bulbank, part of the UniCredit Group.
The Superbrands Bulgaria project is part of the global program Superbrands, which is operating in more than 80 countries, identifying and promoting the most powerful brands and business practices on the market.
The selection and assessment of brands are universal around the world and consist of two stages - secret vote of the Superbrands board and a representative nationwide online vote, which was conducted this year by GFK Bulgaria.
This year the independent Superbrands board in Bulgaria was chaired by Venelina Gocheva, President of the Publisher's Editorial Board of Media Group Bulgaria Holding.
The strongest PR brand award is the fourth one for M3 Communications Group, Inc.in 2012. In August, Bulgarian businessman, PR expert and manager of the company, Maxim Behar, was awarded as a Distinguished Honoree in the Executive of the Year in Advertising, Marketing, and PR category by the International Business Awards, aka The Stevies; in October, he received the "Communicator of the Decade" Award of the Association of Business Communicators of India (ABCI) at a glamorous gala dinner in the Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai, and during the same month he was voted Bulgaria's "Manager of the Year" for 2012 in the online vote of the largest Bulgarian private TV channel bTV as part of the annual top managers' contest of the renowned magazine "Manager."
