European Wage Growth Slows at End of 2023: Bulgaria Outpaces EU Average

Bulgaria's Olympic champions Armen Nazaryan, Valentin Raychev and Serafim Barzakov have been appointed coaches of the national wrestling teams, the country's federation announced.
The news comes a month after the coaches of all teams were dismissed in the wake of Bulgaria's unsatisfactory performance in the Olympic Games in London this summer.
Olympic, European world champion Armen Nazaryan said he is happy to have been elected chief coach of Bulgarian Greco Roman wrestling team.
"I received the same offer a few years ago, but I refused. It took me five years to accept the proposal. I am happy to be given such an opportunity," he told Armenian journalists.
He further noted training future Olympic winners as his priority task, voicing hope to justify the hopes.
Nazaryan will start coaching Bulgarian wrestlers during November 26 team practice session. The 21-day- trainings to bring together 22 wrestlers and 3 coaches will be held in town of Melnik. Bulgarian championships 2013 will further determine the squad for Georgia-hosted European championships.
He further stressed the need to conduct joint practice session with Armenia, a week before the start of the championship.
Valentin Raychev, winner of an Olympic gold medal in Moscow 1980, will take over the freestyle team. He will replace Simeon Shterev, who has been the personal trainer of Bulgaria's sole medalist from London - Stanka Zlateva.
Serafim Barzakov, silver Olympic medalist and two-time world champion, has been appointed senior coach of the women's team. His assistant will be Manolov Philip, father of European Championships medalists Jenny Manolova and Ellis Manolova.
