Temperatures in Bulgaria over the weekend are forecast to reach 21°C to delight the people, who are eagerly expecting what may prove to be the last warm spell this year.

Bulgaria saw a significant change in the weather this week and was hit by rainy storms and gusty winds.

Forecasts say the glorious sun is to return to Bulgaria at the start of the weekend and temperatures will rise to 17°C-21°C, except for the Southeastern parts of the country.

In Sofia the mercury will go up to 17°C on Friday afternoon and on Saturday.

There will be light wind and short shower spells along the Black Sea coast, where highs have been forecast at 18-21°C.
