Bulgaria: Bulgaria's Producer Prices in Industry Up by 4.5% Y/Y July 2012

Bulgaria's producer price index in the domestic market grew by 4.5% year on year in July 2012, according to the country's National Statistical Institute.

Domestic prices increased in the mining and quarrying industry (by 2.4%) and in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (by 10.6%). In manufacturing the prices remained at the level of  July 2011

Price increases were registered in the manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (by 8.4%), in the manufacture of tobacco products (by 8.1%), in the manufacture of beverages (by 5.0%).

The producer price index on Bulgaria's domestic market in July 2012 increased by 1.9% compared to the previous month.

Domestic prices increased in the mining and quarrying industry (by 1.7%), in manufacturing (by 0.9%) and in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (by 4.1%).
