The European Commission's upcoming report on Bulgaria's failure in organized crime fight and the rule of law will result in snap elections in the country, according to the National Movement for Stability and Prosperity, a marginal liberal party.

The party obtained a draft of the report on Sunday and says it highlights the government's failure to reform the judicial system.

Bulgaria will remain under close scrutiny, NMSP leader Hristina Hristova has commented.

Hristova believes the ruling centrist-right GERB party has been ineptly trying to blame the country's judiciary for the European Commission's criticism.

"This report has destroyed the myth that this government is better than the previous one," she has declared.

NMSP was part of the so-called three-way coalition (2005-2009). The party failed to enter the Bulgarian Parliament after the 2009 general elections.

Bulgaria's government braces for a negative Co-operation and Verification Mechanism report.
