Daniel Mitov, Deputy Chairman of GERB, has expressed his readiness to assume the position of Acting Foreign Minister
Bulgaria's Agriculture Minister Miroslav Naydenov has vowed to obey the strict hierarchy in the country's ruling centrist-right cabinet following Prime Minister Boyko Borisov's angry remarks on his colleague.
"I never take the liberty to comment the work of other cabinet members. It is only Prime Minister Boyko Borisov who has the right to do that," Naydenov declared on Friday, as cited by dnevnik.bg.
In a Thursday interview, Finance Minister Simeon Djankov dared to voice his discontent with the work of Naydenov, which resulted in an angry outburst on behalf of Borisov.
Borisov accused Djankov of sowing divisiveness in the parliamentary group of ruling, center-right party GERB, adding that the government and he himself had been made to suffer for Djankov's reckless behavior.
The Prime Minister further threatened that Djankov may end up being fired before Naydenov if he keeps disregarding the rules, adding that he can easily "deal" with his Finance Minister.
On Friday, Naydenov described 2011 as an "extremely successful" year for the country's agricultural sector and wished all the best to the whole cabinet for the upcoming year.
