More than 700 babies, conceived through an in vitro procedure, were born in Bulgaria in 2011, all financed by the Fund for Assisted Reproduction.

In 2011, the Fund "I Want a Baby" has supported with financing 3 395 childless women or 90% of all candidates. Since its establishment two years ago, the Fund had financed over 10 000 women and 1 400 babies have been born. The amount is estimated at BGN 15 M.
