UEFA will announce this week what punishment is in store for Bulgaria over their fans' racist chanting during the Euro 2012 qualifier against England in Sofia in September.

UEFA's disciplinary committee will meet in Switzerland on Thursday to discuss abuse directed at England's black players, The Mirror has informed. The Serbian delegate at the match has submitted his report on the issue.

Bulgaria's Football Union will be most likely hit by a fine.

In October, UEFA launched disciplinary proceedings against the Bulgarian Football Union as part of their investigation into racist abuse during September's Bulgaria-England Euro 2012 qualifier in Sofia. England recorded an easy 3:0 win.

"Monkey" chants were heard during the game, apparently targeting English players Chris Smalling, Ashley Cole, Ashley Young and Theo Walcott, but also Brazlian-born Bulgarian international Marcos Marquinhos.
