How many Times were Diplomatic Relations between Russia and Bulgaria Severed
If we look at history, there are not many cases in which relations between Bulgaria and Russia at the state level were as bad as they are at the moment.
One of the greatest ever personalities of modern Bulgaria is not with us anymore. Dimi Panitza - he really loved Bulgaria and he really believed that the country deserves to be among the most innovative and fast developing in the world.
But most of all Dimi believed in the people of the country. To such an extent that he dedicated his whole life to help people, whom no one had helped before, to launch communities, which no one dared to launch before and to create discussions, which no one ever had imagined before.
Dimi Panitza was the one to whom, about 12 years ago, I sent a project for an English language daily newspaper in Bulgaria called Sofia Morning News. When he sent me back his opinion it was written with a red marker across the front page of the future daily. Dimi wrote: "Don't do it!" And when I called back at the hotel to ask him why, his answer was: try to use the Internet, a daily newspaper in English can not survive...
Just only the good, innovative and positive stories we had with Dimi over the past 20 years might fill a whole book. And each of them deserves to be known by the young and the old, by the locals and the foreigners, by the thousand students, who joined us at Junior Achievement and had the unique chance to know him personally.
We all will miss you Dimi. A lot.

The term “Iron Curtain” was not coined by Winston Churchill, but it was he who turned it into one of the symbols of the latter part of the twentieth century by using it in his famous Fulton speech of 1946.
Hardly anything could be said in defense of the new government's ideological profile, which is quite blurry; at the same time much can be disputed about its future "pro-European" stance.
Look who is lurking again behind the corner – the tandem of Advent International and Deutsche Bank, respectively the buyer of the Bulgarian Telecom Company in 2004 and the advisor of the Bulgarian government in the sweetest deal of the past decade, seem t
We have seen many times this circus which is being played out during the entire week and it only shows one thing - there is no need of a caretaker government in Bulgaria.
You have certainly noticed how many times President Rosen Plevneliev used the phrase “a broad-minded person” referring to almost every member of his caretaker government.
