Meanwhile, UDF candidate Rumen Hristov, a former Minister and vice-Minister of Agriculture, as well as advisor to Bulgaria's Presidents Zhelyu Zhelev and Petar Stoyanov, won the coalition's preliminary presidential vote cast on the same day.
