PRIVATIZATION AGENCY SUPERVISORY BOARD CLEAR

The Privatization Agency supervisory board will include three representatives of the Simeon II National Movement, two of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms and one of Coalition for Bulgaria and the United Democratic Forces. The nominees will be voted by Parliament on Friday. Simeon II National Movement candidates are Theodor Stoev, Petko Nikolov and Russy Mehandziev, UDF proposed Dimitar Bachvarov, MRF - Dimiter Hristov and Nedzhmi Ali and Socialist will be represented by Nikola Kojtchev. The surprise is missing of one of the key king`s experts Vladimir Karolev, considered as almost sure member of the Board. `It is not possible to include former privatization consultants in the board`, angry reacted UDF MP Nikola Nikolov, former chief, now deputy of the economic committee of the parliament. `It is obvious that we`ll propose experienced privatization experts`, repsonded current committee chief Valery Dimitrov. The committee dismissed also at the same sitting the members of the current supervisory board and board of directors of the agency. Former Executive Director Levon Hampartzoumyan already took his new job as CEO of the largest Bulgarian bank Bulbank, majority owned by Italian Uni Credito.
