The news was reported Monday by the cabinet's press center on the heels of large scale protests organized by citizens and carrier companies across the country for the last two days.
The group was established after a talk between Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, Finance Minister, Simeon Djankov, Economy and Energy Minister, Traicho Traikov, and Transport and Communications Minister, Aleksander Tsvetkov.
Borisov has assigned the group with the task to prepare a comparative analysis of the price levels of different types of fuels in Bulgaria and in other EU Member States.
Under the cabinet's initiative a meeting will be held Wednesday at the Council of Ministers between the government and representatives of manufacturers and merchants of fuels to discuss the situation with fuel prices in the country.
