Bulgaria's government Airbus 310 will evacuate Bulgarian citizens from Libya on Monday, the Balkan country's Foreign Ministry has informed.
The Bulgarians willing to be evacuated from the severe turmoil in the North African state must be present at the Tripoli airport at 10:00 am local time. Informing the Bulgarian Embassy in Tripoli is a necessary precondition.
The Bulgarian citizens must carry their foreign passports with themselves, as well as water and food. the Foreign Ministry has further informed. All Bulgarian nationals who are still in Libya are urged to use all possible evacuation options in the course of the next several days.
Late on Sunday, The Turkish Iskenderum ship successfully arrived at the port of Marmaris evacuating 1518 people from Libya, including 22 Bulgarian citizens. Earlier on Sunday, 21 Bulgarians arrived in Bucharest after being rescued from Libya on board of a Romanian military aircraft.
