Maxim Behar, CEO of the largest PR company in Bulgaria M3 Communications Group, Inc. (www.m3bg.com) and Victor Melamed, spokesman for Balkan Airlines were the only Bulgarians to join recent Solidarity mission to Israel organized by the American Jewish Committee. The mission was headed by the AJC president Harold Tanner and Executive Directors David Harris and Shula Bahat. The Israeli president Moshe Katsav, foreign minister Shimon Peres and many key decision makers received the whole delegation and expressed deep thanks of helping the country in such a difficult moment. AJC delegation visited also the most risky parts of Jerusalem and Israeli northern part, next to the Lebanon border. “Peaceful solution is possible and must be found – all Israeli high leveled politicians commented during our meetings”, Behar commented after arrival back in Sofia. The third Bulgarian member of the mission – Solomon Passy – stayed home as the very same day was elected foreign minister of the country in newly elected government of PM Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotta.
