If needed, Bulgaria will send one more airplane to evacuate nationals from violence-ridden Libya, which will be the last one, stated Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Mladenov Saturday.

Saturday 22 Bulgarian citizens fled the North African country from Benghazi on board of a Turkish vessel headed for Marmaris.

Mladenov informed that out of 500 Bulgarians registered at the embassy in Tripoli, 130 have already come back.

Tuesday Bulgarian authorities pulled off a comic situation, after Mladenov and PM Boyko Borisov sent independently two rescue planes, apparently without consulting each other.

Mladenov further informed that at present Bulgarians wishing to leave the country can do so on the French ship Tourville from Benghazi, for which they have to contact the Swedish consulate in the city.
