Socialists must prepare to walk out in street protests against the cabinet's incompetence, according to leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party Sergey Stanishev.
Stanishev was speaking at the Socialists' plenum meeting in Sofia Saturday, severely criticising the developments around the center-right GERB cabinet of PM Boyko Borisov.
"We must bring back politics to public life and propose real alternatives for governing this country," said the socialist leader.
"At present in Bulgaria there is no politics at all - there is just a string of scandals that blurs the view to what is actually happening," admonished Stanishev.
He called the Socialist Party to brace up and to lead the wave of discontent that is building among the Bulgarian population.
