In 2011 we will have to clench out teeth, but in 2012 we will start good projects that will give results, Bulgaria's PM Boyko Borisov said.
His statement was made Tuesday at the 8th Congress of the National Labor Confederation "Podkrepa".
"Next year, we will see the results of what we do and the highways that we build will bring more investors. There is no country that lacks infrastructure but has investors. Business will not come to Bulgaria if there is no good infrastructure," Borisov said.
In his words, the politicians who rules the country 22 years ago have tried to make people already desperate when democratic parties appear on the political scene.
"It was planned 22 years ago for the nation to get desperate and give up on reforms, but we will make them," Borisov said.
He has explained that the goal of the politicians at that time was to make people go through stages of hope, indifference and finally hatred to reforms.
"In all institutions, at key positions, they have places people who could develop a strategy to influence society. When we made the firm decision to dismiss former secret agents, who worked for the Communist State Security, we saw the fierce resistance against the government," Borisov said.
The prime minister has explained that the ruling party GERB took the power in the middle of an precedented for the world economic crisis.
"When we took the power, there were no measures against the crisis. But during our ruling, the absorption of EU funds increased over 10 times," Borisov said.
He added that in his opinion, there is no other party, besides GERB, that could take responsibility for the country's development.
"There is nothing better for ruling parties to have a coalition partner, with which they can wash their hands. But this is bad for the country and the people. This is why we take our political responsibility - good, bad things, mistakes - everybody knows who is guilty and who has succeeded," Borisov said.
