` Polimeri will launch joint production with Germany`s Krupp Ude and will expand its facilities in a two-year period `, Dimitar Karaivanov, head of the Devnya-based company, announced. An agreement has been reached with the Dortmund-based company on the implementation of projects, financed by AKB Fores Industrial Holding, while the technical solutions will come from Krupp Ude. The German company will also propose options for the technical upgrade of the holding`s Beroe company of Stara Zagora. The joint projects envisage modernization of the installations and introduction of new products. A three-month agreement for ethylene supply to LUKoil Neftochim was signed last week. Every month Polimeri will supply 200 tons to the oil refinery. `This is the minimum quantity to maintain production`, Karaivanov said.
