The Bulgarian Cabinet and President have denounced the terrorist attack at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport, and have expressed Bulgaria's condolences to the Russian people.
Dozens of people, at least 31, and many more were wounded Monday afternoon by what is believed to be a suicide bomber attack at Moscow's busiest airport.
The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry cited information from the Russian authorities saying no Bulgarian citizens have been hurt in the blast.
"The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry condemns strongly the terrorist attack which killed and wounded dozens of people. We extend our condolences to the relatives of the victims. There is no cause in the world that can justify the murder of innocent civilians," the ministry said in a statement.
"On behalf of the Bulgarian people and on behalf I express the deepest and sincere sympathies to the families and relatives of the victims, and hopes for quick recovery of those wounded," Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov declared in a letter to the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
