Bulgaria's president presented on Sunday his book entitled "The First Term of Georgi Parvanov".
The book was presented in the Sheraton hotel in downtown Sofia. It has 559 pages, a collection of his political speeches and lectures from 2001-2006, and contains 90 photos. According to the press office of the Presidency, the aim of the book is to "show the style of political speaking of Parvanov – contents, ideas, arguments."
Parvanov's book is published by the Zahari Stoyanov publishing house, whose director Ivan Granitski is considered the leader of the leftist intellectuals close to the President, a former leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party.
This is the Bulgarian President's second book. In 2001, Parvanov published his first book, "Before and After the 10th", referring to November 10, 1989, the end of the communist regime in Bulgaria. As a historian, he is also the author of a number of articles and case studies.
