Nebojsa Jovanovic, a 33 year-old businessman, will probably be the first Serbian citizen to become a "space tourist".

Jovanovic has bought his space ticket from Virgin Galactic, a company which plans to provide sub-orbital spaceflights to the paying public, in exchange for USD 300 000.

However, the Serbian has to undergo psychological and physiological testing ahead of his flight. The company has recommended him a diet, since he is out of shape.

Some 150 000 tourists worldwide, including the Bulgarian businessman Shefket Chapadzhiev from Chicago, have booked a ticket for space up to now. Virgin Galactic has offered a 30% discount for the service it is providing due to the financial crisis.
