A Bulgarian government delegation arrived in Lebanon Monday night for official bilateral talks.

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov is accompanied by Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov and Minister of Economy, Energy, and Tourism Traicho Traikov.

Borisov was welcomed in Beirut by his Lebanese counterpart Saad Hariri. After their meeting he laid flowers on the grave of assassinated former Lebanese PM Rafik Hariri, and visited the Mohammad al-Amin mosque created by the Hariri family.

Borisov is also to scheduled to meet with Lebanon's President Michel Suleiman, the Chair of the National Assembly Nabih Berri, and members of the Bulgarian community in Beirut.

Bulgarian Economy Minister Traikov will open a bilateral business forum for companies from the two countries.

Borisov is returning a visit that Saad Hariri paid to Bulgaria in March 2010.
