Bulgaria's Interior Minister, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, left Sunday on a week-long work trip to the US, the Interior Ministry press center informs.
The visit includes meetings with the heads of the American Secret Services, FBI, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and the Police Chiefs Association, among others.
Tsvetanov is accompanied by the Director of the Unit for Combatting Organized Crime (GDBOP), Chief Commissar, Stanimir Florov.
The agenda also includes talks with the US Attorney General and the EU Ambassadors to Washington.
Tsvetanov and Florov will visit the 911 emergency call center in Virginia and the State Department.
