DEUTSCHE BANK READY TO ADVISE THE NEW GOVERNMENT

`Deutsche Bank declared its readiness to continue consulting the Bulgarian government on the privatisation of the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Nikolai Vassilev told journalists, back from London where he accompanied President Peter Stoyanov on his official visit. `I am sure that this will the best option for Bulgaria because Deutsche Bank knows the potential buyers`, he said, adding that if at least one larger Western company invests in the telecommunications industry, this will be a great success for the Balkan region. Vassilev also had talks with two big investors about the sale of the Bulgartabac Holding Group. One was British American Tobacco. Vasilev expressed his hope that the two consortiums will enter a future competitive bidding procedure. According to him the Bulgartabac privatisation strategy will be soon ready.
