The American Ambassador to Bulgaria, James Warlick, says he was highly impressed by the "St. Marina" hospital in the Black Sea capital Varna.

Warlick, who visited the city, pointed out "St. Marina" is a model of the implementation of the health care reform in the country, adding that he thought he was in an American hospital.

The Ambassador traveled to Varna to give the hospital a donation of hemodialysis apparatus. A week ago, a similar donation was made by the US to the children's hospital in the capital Sofia.

Warlick pointed out his meetings with Bulgarian medical professionals made him optimistic that the country's health care is in good help.
