Voter confidence in the current Bulgarian center-right GERB cabinet has slightly increased, according to a study by Bulgarian social research agency Alpha Research.
Data from the poll, conducted among 1034 Bulgarians, shows that the work of the government for October has been evaluated for 3,40 out of 6.
For comparison, the evaluation for June was 3,34, while one hundred days after coming into office the result was 4,13.
According to the researchers, the three events that have effected positively the cabinet's evaluation were the Black Sea operations of the National Revenue Agency (80%), the implementation of the state standard for meat products "Stara Planina" (60%) and the infrastructural projects (50%).
However, although the Bulgarian economy has registered a slight stabilization, 32% of the employed believe that the situation in their companies is getting worse.
Two years after the beginning of the crisis statistics show that the weak positive tendencies have been registered in the economic growth of export companies, as well as in the industry sector.
Despite its continuing decrease since February, unemployment in the country is still high – 9,24%.
About 72% of the respondents have claimed they do not see the end of the crisis in Bulgaria in the near future.
However, for the first time since the beginning of the year, the survey shows that the people who manage to maintain their material status are more than the people who claim a worse situation of their finances.
