A parliamentary delegation from the German state Bavaria, led by the head of the local Landtag, Barbara Stamm, will make an official visit to Bulgaria on September 9-10.
The German delegation has been invited by the Speaker of the Bulgarian Parliament, Tsetska Tsacheva.
The delegation will include the deputy heads of the Landtag, Reinhold Bocklet, Franz Maget, Peter Meyer, Christine Stahl and Jorg Rode.
Except Tsacheva, the German delegation will also meet the Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov, the PM Boyko Borisov, the Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov and the Justice Minister Margarita Popova.
During her visit to the Bulgarian Parliament, Barbara Stamm will sign the book for official guests of the National Assembly.
The delegation will visit some key places in the Bulgarian capital Sofia like the "Alexander Nevski" Cathedral, the Boyana Church and the National Historical Museum.
The last high-ranking visit by a delegation from Bavaria to Bulgaria was in March 2010 by the Interior Minister of Bavaria, Joachim Herrmann.
