Bulgaria: Bulgaria Hosts Meeting of EU Women Speakers of Parliament

Speaker of the Bulgarian Parliament Tsetska Tsacheva is hosting a meeting of women speakers of Parliament from the EU Friday in Varna.

The meeting, under the heading of "New Spaces in European Intercultural Dialogue", is held in the framework of the informal club of women speakers of EU Parliaments initated by Austrian speaker Barbara Prammer.

On the proposal of Tsacheva, speakers of parliaments from countries applying for EU-membership are also invited.

Friday's meeting will bring together the Bulgarian Speaker of Parliament with counterparts Barabara Prammer (Austria), Ene Ergma (Estonia) and Ásta Jóhannesdóttir (Iceland).

The women speakers will also meet with Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov.
