Boyko Borisov chose to cast his vote with a paper ballot in Bankya today.
Bulgaria’s Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, sent Saturday a congratulation letter to German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, in occasion of her birthday.
The information was reported by the Council of Ministers' press center.
In the letter, Borisov wishes Merkel health, personal happiness and lots of success in her high-responsibility work.
“I am hoping the Bulgarian cabinet can continue to count on your support for the advancement of our bilateral relations and for the successful partnership between our two countries, members of the EU and NATO,” the letter says.
Borisov concludes that Germany is a top strategic partner for Bulgaria and extends gratitude for Germany’s and Merkel’s personal support as one of the leading European politicians helping Bulgaria’s EU integration.
