The President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas is coming on an official visit to Bulgaria Tuesday and Wednesday, by invitation from Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov.

Abbas will meet his Bulgarian counterpart, as well as speaker of Bulgarian Parliament Tsetska Tsacheva and Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov.

The Palestinian President's visit will give a continuation to the ongoing high-level dialogue between Palestine and Bulgaria, after President Parvanov's visit to Ramallah in 2008 and Persident Abbas' trip to Sofia in 2007.

At the meetings, the two sides are expected to discuss current developments in the Middle East peace process.

A high-ranking Palestinian delegation will arrive in Sofia together with President Abbas, including foreign affairs minister Riyad al-Maliki and labor minister Ahmad Majdalani.

Monday Mahmoud Abbas is on an official visit to Romania.
