Bulgarian head of state Georgi Parvanov sent his official greeting to newly-elected Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski.

In his message Parvanov expressed his conviction that President Komorowski will work with perseverance for the prosperity of Poland.

Bulgarian President Parvanov also stressed in his address on the close ties between the two countries: “As allies, Bulgaria and Poland are working in close cooperation within the EU and NATO. I trust that under your leadership our excellent relations and the dynamic dialogue between Bulgaria and Poland will continue to develop to ever higher levels, and will contribute to our common aspiration for building a unified and strong Europe, and for upholding peace and stability in the world.”
