Doverie Brico, a joint venture between Bulgarian Doverie Capital and French Mr.Bricolage SA, opened on Tuesday its second store from the DIY chain in Serbia, the company announced.
The facility, located on Vojvoda Stepa Boulevard in Novi Sad has an area of 2000 sq. M. and is part of the company’s plans for expansion in the Balkan countries.
Doverie Brico short-term plans include the opening of stores in Albania, Macedonia and Bulgaria.
Last year, Doverie Brico AD, a JV between Bulgarian Doverie Capital (55%) and French Mr.Bricolage SA, started expansion in Serbia through its subsidiary, Brico Spec.
“We have very ambitious plans for the Serbian market, which means that these two stores are just the beginning. The company will open three more stores over the next few years,” Milen Hristov, executive director of Brico Spec, said.
