Germany fully supports Bulgaria’s efforts to become a State where the rules and the law are observed, Bulgaria’s Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, declared Monday.
Borisov spoke to the media upon conclusion of his meeting with Kurt Beck, PM of the German Federal Province Rheinland-Pfalz, addressing a question why he had targeted the German investors in Bulgaria.
If Bulgaria protects Bulgarian consumers then the business climate would become more attractive for German companies, the PM said, adding Beck had also given praise to the reform of the judicial system and the work of Justice Minister, Margarita Popova.
Borisov informed Germany will support Bulgaria's 2011 Schengen zone entry.
The two have further discussed issues related to energy projects in Bulgaria, with Beck saying he is most likely to continue conversations on this topic with Economy and Energy Minister, Traicho Traikov.
Borisov pointed out his great relations with both the German Christian Democratic party and Beck’s Social Democratic party.
The Premier of Rheinland-Pfalz also met with President Georgi Parvanov.
