Bulgaria's government Falcon airplane will be sent to repatriate Filip Filev, an Interior Ministry official, who has been taken ill in India.

Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has ordered the mercy mission, to transport Filev from a hospital in the Indian capital, New Delhi, back to Bulgaria. All costs will be met by the Council of Ministers, according to the government press office.

The official was engaged on a three-month training program of "Fingerprints and Computers" on behalf of the Indian government.

Filev became ill at the end of February, and was urgently hospitalized. His condition has now stabilized, but he is will be returned to Bulgaria for recuperative physiotherapy at the Military Academy Hospital.
