A new Bulgarian Culture Institute is opening in London in 2010, the Bulgarian Culture Ministry informs Friday.

The agreement was reached between Bulgaria's Culture Minister, Vezhdi Rashidov, and the British Ambassador to Sofia, Steve Williams.

Rashidov expressed sincere gratitude for the support of British experts in the establishment of Bulgaria's culture policy in the period of the country's EU accession and the collaboration between the cultural institutions of the two countries.

The Minister further said he hoped the new institute will offer the opportunity to the British audience to learn about Bulgaria's ancient and contemporary culture.
