Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Burgas has launched a new interactive tourist guide, which is the first of its type in Bulgaria.

The guide is a project of the Tourism Department of the Burgas Municipality, the regional history museum and the local tourism college.

It is available on the website of the Burgas Tourist Information Center in Bulgarian and English; by the end of October it is also going to have versions in German and Russian. The guide will also be distributed in print at the Burgas Airport and the tourist center.

It features interactive maps, pictures, and information about every single cultural, natural, or historical site in the city. It also presents five tourist routes including one for children.

The interactive guide will be updated timely; it is soon going to include information on the Poda Protected Area, and the Strandza Mountain National Park.
