The parliamentary group of the Simeon II National Movement and the SNM Coalition Council adopted a special resolution Friday, confirming the nomination of Simeon Saxe-Coburg as Prime Minister, SNM floor leader Plamen Panayotov announced. The vote of the participants in the joint meeting on the resolution was unanimous, Panayotov said. The decision was made by reckoning with the SNM`s will, expressed on July 23 and SNM leader Simeon Saxe-Coburg`s consent to be nominated prime minister. The meeting held on July 23 came up with a decision, which was to be confirmed after receiving the nominee`s consent, Panayotov said, explaining the decision-making procedure. `After journalists raised objections against our way of voting, we formalized our decision by an act following the prescribed procedure`, SNM deputy floor leader Vladimir Donchev said.
