Bulgaria's producer price index (PPI) dropped 10,6% in July on an annual basis, following a decrease by 7,3% year-on-year the previous month, official data shows.
On a monthly basis, producer prices decreased 1% in July, the National Statistical Institute said.
Meanwhile, the producer price index on the domestic market declined 0,9% compared to the preceding month.
Analysts attribute this trend to the harsher competition on international markets and the more flexible contracts in Bulgaria.
